I cannot believe my first semester of college is over in a few days! I also cannot believe that I managed to write this Ebook about how I got the opportunity to start college early. I get asked all the time about my story and people want to hear it from the beginning, so that's what I did!
There were so many events that happened before college and I tried to include as many as I could. The book includes selected stories of moments that led to the decision for me to go to college. Click here to download your copy. I can't wait for you to read it!

The Atlanta Tech Village is one of the largest technology hubs in the world. The building is so nice inside! I do not have class on Wednesdays so they invited me out to tour the building. It is basically 1 huge office space for entrepreneurs who are interested in tech startups. Even though I am interested in Science, technology is everywhere so learning about ATV was fun. I met a few female entrepreneurs with different college degrees like marketing, counseling, and computer engineering. They were very smart and have backgrounds similar to mine. They gave me some really good advice on staying balanced with all of my college work and other priorities. Did I mention how nice the space was! I think every office should look like ATV. They can work standing up or on treadmills. They have game rooms, nap rooms, and snack rooms with FREE snacks for their employees. You can tell that they play hard because they work hard. I would not mind working for a startup if it fits what I want to do. Of course I have a while to decide...I want to thank Lauren Patrick who started at ATV and graduated to her own building across from ATV. Her startup Terminus is an account based marketing company. I visited Terminus as well and they gave me some nice swag! I definitely learned a lot and tried real coffee for the first time (I usually get a creme' frappe from Starbucks). I would come back anytime! Especially for the snacks and the nap room!Last Monday I got up early with plans to wash my hair since I didn't have class, but then I realized that I had an ice cream date with Najja Parker an editor from the Atlanta Journal Constitution. I just twisted the front of my hair and hoped for some kind curl pattern by the time I pulled up at Jeni's Slendid Ice Creams. They hand make the waffle cones and it smells like warm sugar inside. This spot was perfect for an interview. We ended up talking for 2 hours about how I got started on the path to college at 13. It is hard to tell the entire story in one sitting but I think they did a good job of telling key points. This is there ice cream bowl but I had the waffle cone with SUPERMOON flavor. It tastes like vanilla marshmallows. After the interview I tried to do a mini photo shoot but then it started raining...Oh well. It was lit on the yard yesterday. Not in a fun way, but in a HOT way. After class I was walking around campus and saw a bunch of tents and tables set up. A girl handed me a flyer and said that UWG has hundreds of student organizations on campus and each table would have information on what they do and how to join. Since it is my first semester I do not plan on joining any clubs or anything, but it was cool to see how many things you can get involved in while in college. The only organizations that I am not allowed to join are fraternities & sororities (not mad about that). My mom is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc so I know about greek life and do not plan on pledging...at least for now. In the meantime, I'll be swimming with the swim team that I've been on for the past few years. that is enough! I had a good time at the fair and got a free T-shirt!
